This silver ring is designed by Piegatto in collaboration with Luis Gonzáles Palma
This piece is born from the epistolary archive between Piet Mondrian and his girlfriend Willy Wentholt, from 1918 to 1923. The ring captures, in a single line, an entire letter written by the Dutch painter in 1919. I can only imagine that the same precision and passion he had for art was also reflected in his romantic experience. According to historian Léon Hanssen, "Mondrian sought the absolute in everything, both art and life."
